Home My WebLink About1601 ORDINANCE NO. 1801 AN ORDINANCE amending the Use and Area maps of Ordinance No. 1553 of the City of Bremerton and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 6 of the City Planning Con~nisston the Use and Area maps of Ordinance No. 1553 shall be amended in conformity with Section 14 thereof, as follows: the following described prop- erty shall be re-zoned as a Commercial-1 zone: Beginning at a point on the north side of Fifth Street, which is 105 feet east of Pacific Avenue and which is the east boundary of the present Commercial - i zone; thence North and parallel to Pacific Avenue 103 feet; thence run- ning East 90 feet; thence South and parallel to Pacific Avenue 103 feet to the north boundary of Fifth Street; thence West along the north boundary of Fifth Street to the point of beginning; and Beginning at a point on the south side of Fifth Street which is 105 feet east of Pacific Avenue and which is the east boundary of the present commercial zone; thence running East 90 feet along the south side of Fifth Street to a point which is 195 feet east of the east side of Pacific Avenue; thence South and parallel to Pacific Avenue 103 feet; thence West and parallel to Fifth Street to a point which is lO5 feet east of Pacific Avenue; thence North and parallel to Pacific Avenue 103 feet and to the point of beginning. Section 2. An emergency exists, and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, welfare and safety of the City of Bremerton, and the same shall take effect immediately following passage PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and attested to by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 29th day of December, 1944.
