All ORDINANCE declaring the extension of Bremerton city limits to include
the school gromads of the East Bremerton School, George Dewey Junior ttigh School
and Lulu Haddon school to be necessary, advisable and for a municipal purpose;
and extending the Bremerton city limits to include said school grounds.
THE CITY OF BRE ..... ~TON DOES ORDAIN
Section 1. That~ the East Bremerton, George Dewey J~ior H~gh School and the
Lulu Haddon schools have been completed ~d said schools with adjacent school
gro~ds are constructed on Peal property hereinafter described which lies
adjacent to but outside of the city limits of the city of B~emerton.
Section ~. That it is necessary and advisable that the city of Bremerton
extend fire protection, police protection and other city services to said
schools and school g~ounds and request has been made by legislative authority
of the Bremerton School District No. lO0-C'that the said hereinafter described
real property be incorporated into the c~ty limits of the city of Bre~rton In
order that such fire and police protection and other c~ty services may be furn-
ished for the protection of the school buildings and school, property and .the
protection of the lives and safety of persons attending said schools; tb~t the
fu~ishing of such fire protection, police protection, ~d other city services,
is a primary. ~d essential municipal purpose.
Sec~lcn 5. That the map of the City of BPemerton is hereby changed, and the
corporate limits of the city of Bremerton are hereby extended to include the
following described real p~operty:
East Bremerton School and
George Dewey Junior H~gh School

Also, the So th half of the Northeast quarter of the

Also that part of Perry AvenUe lying between the
present city limits boundary ~nd the N. S. centerl~ne
of the Southeast ~usrter of ~ec~ion 12, Township ~4
N, R i E.W.N.,

Lulu Haddon School
Lots 4 to 14, ir~clusive, Block 4, Midway Addition
to the City'of Dremerton,
Also, that part of Lot 15 of said. Block 4, lying North
of the County Road,
Also, that part or said County Road lying ~ast of the
North and South'centerline of the Northeast .quarter of
Section 15, To,ship 24 N, R i E.W.M.,
Also, the Eas~ 190 feet of Lots 6 and 7, and all of
Lot 8, lying Northeast of the County Road,'Phinney 2~

All in Kitsap County, State of Washington.
Section 4. That an emergency exists in the city of Eremerton affecting the
public peace, health and safe~y, and this ordinance shell take effect ln~edia~ely
following passage and publication.

by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica~ion of such passage
