A~ ORDINANCE annexing certain territory hereinafter described to and
making it a part of the City of Bremerton, pursuant to the vote of the
inhabitants of said territory at a special election held in a part of Navy
Yard City precinct on July 3, lgAS,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the residents of the territory hereinafter described,
at a special elect~on held on July 3, 1945, in a part of Navy Yard City
precinct, Kitsap County, Washington, for the purpose of voting upon the
question of annexation, have voted in favor of annexation to the City of
Bremerton by a vote of 60 votes for annexation to 1 vote against annexation,
and the election board of Kitsap County, Washington, has certified the results
of such election to the City Council of the City of Bremerton, as by law
provided.
~ection 2. The City Council of the City of Bremerton deems it wise and
expedient to take ana annex said contiguous territory to the City of Bremerton,
and the said territory, being legally described as follows, is hereby annexed
to and made a part of the City of Bremerton, and is hereby incorporated within
the city limits of the City of Bramerton.-
Northwest quarter of Northeast quarter, Bection 22,
Township 24 North, Range 1 E., W.M.; except any
portion of Marion Street lying within, Kitsap County,
Washington.
Bection 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days following final
passage and publication as provided by law.
APPROVED unanimously on first reading this ltth day of July, 1945, by
the City Council of the City of Bremerton.
PASSED unanimously on final reading, signed by the Mayor, and attested by
the 'City Clerk in authentication of such passage, this 25th day of July, 1945.
