AN ORDINANCE adopting THE Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of Washington,
1941 Edition, as amended, by reference as provided by Section l, Chapter 213,
Session Laws of 1943, page 885, and providing a penalty for the violation
thereof, and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
therewith, and providing for the citation thereof.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of Washington, 1941 editic
as amended by the Session Laws of the State of Washington for 1943 and as
further amended by the Bession Laws of the State of Washington for 1945 are
hereby adopted, insofar as the same may be applicable, as the Motor Vehicle La~
of the City of Bremerton; All amendments or additions to such laws as adopted,
when printed and filed with the City Clerk, shall be considered and accepted as
additions to such statutes, code or compilation without the necessity of furthe
adoption of such amendments or additions, all as provided for by Session Laws
of 1943, Section 1, Chapter 213.
Section 2. Any person violating any provisions of said statutes, code or
compilation referred to in Sectdon i hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum not to exceed
SZO0.OO or imprisonment in the City jail for not to exceed 90 days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
Section ~. All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 4. In citing the specific provision of the statutes, code or
compilation referred to in Section i hereof, the same may be cited by reference
to the Session Laws of the State of Washington, or by reference to the compila-
tion published by the Washington State Department of Licenses, as now or here-
after published, or by reference to the Section of Pierce,s Perpetual Codes,
or by reference to Remington,s Revised Statutes.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days following final
passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this 5th day of July, 1945.
PASSED on second reading this llth day of July, 1945, signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage.
