AN ORDINANCE amending Sec. 20 of Ordinance 1553 by providinE for the
classification of territory annexed to the City of Bremerton subsequent
to the passage of Ordinance 1553, and declaring an emergency.
The City of Bremerton does Ordain:
Section 1. That Section 20 of Ordinance 1553 be and thc same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 20 a. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and. the same are hereby repealed.
b. All territory heretofore or hereafter annexed to
the City of Bremerton subsequent to the passage of Ordinance
No. 1553 shall be automatically classified as Residential
One (R) I district as of the date of such annexation until
use and area survey maps are all made and such territory is
re-classified in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance #1553.
Sec. 2. An emergency exists and this Ordinance is necessary for the
protection of the peace, health, safety and welfare of the City of
Bremerton and this Ordinance shall bake effect immediately following
passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 4th day of April, 1945.
