AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area maps of Ordinance No. 1553 and. declarin[
an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMER~0N 'DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That pursum~t to Resolution No. 9 of the city Planning Com-
mission, the Use and Area maps of Ordinance No. lb53 shall be amended in con-
formity with Section 14 thereof, as follows:
all of that property between Preble Street and Rodgers Street
on the East side of Lafayette Avenue, up to the alley, or ex-
isting C-1 zone, between Lafayette and Cambrian Avenues,
to be re-zoned as Residential 2 zone.
Section Z. An emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary fop the
immediate preservation of public peace, .health and safety in the city of Brem-
erton, and for the purpose of national defense, and the same shall take effect
immediately following passage and publication.
PA~SED AND APPROVED unanimously by the City oouncil of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage, this 14th day of February, 1945.
