District No. E2~, providing for the improvement of Ironsides Avenue between East Eleven;h
and East Thirteenth Street as in said ordinance described; providing for the levying
and assessing of the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lots of land
between the te~nini and ~i~in the boundaries of said improvement district, providing
for the collection thereof; creating and establishing a special fund therefor and fix-
ing the date for the issuance oI' bongs in pa~ent thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OM T~ CITY OF BR~ERTON AS FOLL0~'S:
Section l: That the assessmen~ roll for Local Improvemen~ Distric~ No. ~8, pro-
viding for ~he improvement o~' Ironsides Avenue between East Eleventh Street and East
Thirbeent~ S~reet, by Grading ~ ~he construction of sidewalks, c~bs and gutters.
togebhe~ with the aoing o~' any and all o~her work in connection therewith as may be
necessary to make such improvement a complete Job, all in accordance with the plans ~
specifications on file in the oz'flce of the City Clerk and as provided by and described
in Ordinance No. 18~8, be and the s~e is hereby approved ~d confirmed.
Section ~: That each parcel ~d lot o~' land o~ part thereof, as shown in said as-
sessment roll is specially benefited by said improvements, and that there be and hereb~
ts assessed against each parcel and lo~ oi' land and part thereof and o~her property
contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll, including the property
belonging to ~he CiLy of Bremerton, the respective amounts in said roll se~ against
each parcel or lo~ o~' and/or part thereof, and other property between the termini of
said improvement abutting upon, adjacent or proximate to said street, ~d such ~o~t
so assessed are hereby declared to be first lien against each parcel or lot of land or
part thereoI', against which the s~e is assessed in said roll.

Section:3. That for the p~pose of this said improvement there is hereby created ~
and established a special fund to be kno~ and called "Local Imorovement Fund DistricH
No. 2~5". Bonds, bearing Interest at 4%, shall be issued in serial n~bers f~m one
to 45, both inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to provide fo~ the ~collected
portion oI' said special assessment due or owing for the uncollected portion in said
district on the ~ate hereinafter fixed, the s~e to be in ~enominations oI' One Hunmred ~
Dollars each, except ~he I'irst which shall be ~'or such ~'ractional part of One H~dred
~llars as may be remaining due ~d ~paid on said date, payable from said "Local Im-
provement Fund, District No.
Section A: T~at the 20~h may o~' August, 1~6, be and the s~e is hereby I'ixed
for the ~ate of the issuance one sale of ~he bones to be issued on account of said im-
provement.
Section S: This ordinance shall be in ~'ull force and efI~ect thirty days I'rom and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council, si~ed by the Mayor ~d attested by the City Clerk in
