employed by the city of Bremerton and providing exceptions.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Sec. 1. Ail persons hereafter employed by or appointed to perman-
ent positions by the city of Bremerton shall be residents within the
territorial limits of said city, and all persons employed by or appointed
to permanent positions by the city of Bremerton, irrespective of the
date of such employment or appointment, shall after the 31st day of
March, 1948, be residents within the territorial limits of said city;
provided, however, tkat where, in the interest or the public health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the city of Bremerton, the City
Council believes it to be desirable that certain employees resime with-
out the territorial limits of said city, City Council may except ,any
employee from the foregoing requirement.
Approved on first reading biff the city council of the city of Brem-
erton this 17th aay of September, 1947.
Passed on final reading by the city council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the mayor and attested by the city clerk in authentication of
such passage this 1st day of 0ctobwr, 1947.
