AN ORDINANCE, appropriating funds for the construction of a traffic
maintenance shop and declaring an emergency:
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Sec. !. That a public emergency exists in the city of Bremerton
which could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time o~~ making
budget for the calendar year in that it has become necessary in order to
~liminate certain hazards to property of the city of Brem~rton anm in
the interest of its employees, to construct a traffic maintenance shop
at an estimated cost of ~$6,~00.00.
Sec. ~. That it will be necessary to ex?end sa~d s~m prior to
December ~1, 1~47, and in order to meet the emergency created by the lack
o~~ sufficient funds for this purpose, the city clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to issue emergency w~rrants in payment of the cost o~' construct-
ing such traffic maintenance shop upon presentation of vouchers properly
signed and approved by a majority of the city council.
Sec. 3. That an emergency exists anm th~s ordinance is in~nediately
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety
of the city of Bremerton, an~ shall take effect i~mnediately upon final
passage and publication.
