AN O~DIIANCm establishing the position of Enslneer's Aide and
establishing the amotuat of compensation for said position for the balance
of the calendar year, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY 0F BREL.IERTON S~5~ !tEREBY
Section 1. There is hereby established in the department of the
City Engineer of the City' of Bremerton~ tile position of "Engineer's
Aide" the duties of which nosition shall be as directed by the City
Engineer.
Section 8. From and after the effective ~ate of this ordinance
engineer's ai6~es shall receive as compensation for their services a
monthly salary not less than ~2S0.00 aha not more than ~}~68.00, such
~ompensation to be paid i~rom the General F~d and charged to the appro-
priation of ~8,000.00 made by Ordinance No. 17~e, passed by the City
Codicil on the ~lst day of Nay, 19{7.
Section S. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of
the public health, peace and welfare of the Cit'~2 of Bremerton ~d sisal!
take effect ir~aediately upon passage and publication.
