ORDINANCE NO. 1724
AN ORDINANCE establishing a minimum salary for the Assistant Treasurer, renaming
the positions of Bookkeeper and Cashier in the Office of City Treasurer and declaring
an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. From and affter the effective date of this ordinance the Assistant
Treasurer of the City of Bremerton for the balance of the calendar year shall receive
a minimum salary of Two Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($225.00) per month.
Section 2. That the position of Bookkeeper in the office of the City Treasurer i
hereby renamed Cashier and the position of Cashier is hereby renamed Assistant Cashier.
Section 3. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public health
safety and welfare an~ shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED and approved unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage, this
1st day of March, 1947.
