AN ORDINANCE requiring city officers and employees to give a surety bond to th
city; fixing the amount of such bond and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That every appointive officer and every employee of the city shall
before entering upon tSe discharge of the duties of his office or employment, give a
surety bond payable to the city in the amount hereinafter ~esignated, conditioned
upon the faithful performance of the duties of the office or employment and upon ac-
counting for all property of the city that may come into his possession by virtue of
his office or employment. Such bond shall be approved as to form by the City Attorn
and as to sufficiency by the City Council, and which shall be filed in the office of
the City C~erk.
