AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 2, Ordinance No. 1620 and Section i?-A
of Ordinance No. 1536, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1620, amending Ordinance No.
1536 by adding thereto a new section designated 17-A, which reads as follows:
"Section 17-A. Whenever any person living outside of the city limits
of the City of Bremerton shall apply for city water service, such
application shall contain as one of the conditions for the furnishing
of such service, that the applicant will do all excavating and back
filling in compliance with the County regulations or any other regu-
lations in existence. After such excavating is satisfactorily per-
formed the Water Department of the City of Bremerton shall make the
connection to the main and lay the pipe to the water meter. All
charges for work performed by the City shall be as provided for
in Section 17 of Ordinance No. 1536;"
be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. That an emergency exists affecting the public peace, health
safety and welfare and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately following
passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Council and signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 5th day of February, 194V.
