A~ 0HDIN~NCE amending Ordinance N'o. 1585, establishing Fire Zone No. 1,
and Fire Lone No. 2, by a~erding Section 2 and ~ thereof, and by adding Section
5 thereto.
~ CITY 0F ~R~[~RTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. T~t Section 2 of Ordinance No. l~3 be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 2. All portio~ of the City of Br~nerton described in
Ordinance Eo. 1555 known as the Zoning ordin~ce, as a Com~rcial
i (c-l) district and not described in Section i of ~ls ~dinance,
be and the s~e is hereby dec,red as a Eo. 2 Fire Zone. All
otl~er portions of the GiSy of Bra~erton not described in Section
i hereof, a~ not ~in the No. ~ Fire Zone, be and the same
are hereby designated as No. 5 ~'ire Zone. Permits shall be
required for th~ erection, co~ruction or moving of buildings
or struct~es within or into Fire Zones l, ~ and b, and all
buildings sh~l comply with the requirements of such zone.
Section 2. Tha% Section ~.of 0rdin~ce No. 1585 shall be and tt~e s~e is
hereby amended to read as foll~s:
Section 5. Whenever any property adjacent to any ~o. i Fire
Zone shall be re-zoned as a Co~]~ercial i (C-l) district, such
area so re-zoned shall i~ed. ia~ely and auto[~ically be
included in and become a par~ of such ~o. i Fire Zone.
Section ~. That Section ~ shall be added to 0rdin~uce No. 158Z, reading
as roll, s:
Section 5. ~¥~henever any property adjacent to ~y Eo. 2 Fire
Zone shall be re-zoned as Corm~roial 1 (G-l) district a~ sh~l
no~ be adjacent to a ~o. 1 Fire Zo~, such area so r~zoned shall
i~nedla$ely ~d auto~tioally be i~l~ed in and become a part
of such Eo. ~ Fire Zone.
Section 4. T~t an emergency exists affecting the public peace, health,
safety and welfare, and ~his ordinance shall take effect i~muediately following
passage and publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor,
and attested by the City Clerk in aut~nticatioa of such passage, this a~nd day
of January, 1947.
