AN ORDINANCE appropriating additional funds for the operation o: the
office oI° the City Attorney, and declaring an emergency,
THE CITY OF BRE1ZERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1o The budget for the calendar year for the office o: the
City Attorney provides for the expenditure of ~200.00 for litigation and
court costs and ~100.00 for travel. [X~e to circumstances which could not
be forseen at the time the budget was adopted both appropriations have been
exhausted, and it is estimated that an a~ditional expenditure of ~210.00 for
court costs and ~40.00 for travel will be required in order to relieve the
emergency. Accordingly, there is hereby appropriated for 'the use oI' the
City Attorney the additional sum of ~210.00 for litigation and court costs
and t~40.00 for travel.
Section 2. This or0~nance is necessary for the preservation of the
public health, safety and weli'are and shall ta~e effect immediately upon
final passage and publication.
APPROVED unanimously by the City Council of the City of.Bremerton on
the 21st day of October, 1948.
PASSED unanimously on secon~ reading by the City Council oi' the City
of Bremerton~ signed by the ~?layor an~ attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage, this let day of November, 1948.
