An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1776, entitled "i'~n ordinance adopting
daylight saving time for the City of ~remerton for the y-ear 1948, and declaring

THE CITY OF ~ RE}4ERTON ~ES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1776, entitled
"An ordinance adopting daylight saving time for the City of Bremerton for the
year 19~8, and declaring an ~aergency", dated May 18, l~J~8, be and t he s ~e is
hereby ~nended to read as follows:
Section 1. That at 1~:01 o'clock antemeridian of the first day of J~e,
19~8, standard time in the City of Bremerton, shall ce ad. vanced one hour~ and
at 12:01 o'clock antemeridian of the 26th day of September, 1~8, standard
time in the City of Bremerton shall, by the retarding of one liour, b e returned
so that between the f~rst day of JLme and the ~t~of September, ~J4~, s~an-
dard time in the City of Bremerton shall be one hour in advance of Pacific
Standard Time.
Section 2. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public
welfare of the citizens of Bremerton and shall be effective i~mediately upon
passage and publication.

by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such 'passa~e
