as in said ordinance described; providing for the levying ~d assessing of the
costs ~d expenses thereof against the parcels and lots o~' land between the ter-
mini and within ~he Oo~daries of said improvement district; providing for ~he col-
lection thereof; creating and establishing a special fund therefor ~d fi~ng the
date for the issuance of bonds in pa~aent thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0]~[CIL O~~ THE CITY 0F BREMEttTOi[ A:~ FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 229,
providing for the improvement of the above-n~ed streets ~d avenues by the oon-
struction of sto~% and sanitary sewers and provia~in~ for drainage, togethez~with
the doing of any ~d all other work in connection therwith as may ce necessary to
make such improvement ac omplete job, all in accordance with the plans and spec-
ifications on file in the office of the City Cl'~rk and as provided by ~ describ-
ed in Ordinance No. 1705, be and the same is hereby approved an~.~ confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as ~own in
said assessment roll, is specially benefited by said improvement, ~i that there
be an~ hereby is assessed against each parcel ~nd lot of l~c~ ~d paFt thereof,
and other property contained in seiki improvement ,.~strict as shown in said roll,
including the property belonging to the City of Bremerton, the respective
in seiki roll set against each parcel or lot of and/or part thereof, and other
property between the temini of said improvement abutting upon~ adjace~t or prox-
imate to sai~t streets and avenues, ~ such ~o'~ts so ass.essed are hereby declar-
ed to be first lien against each parcel or lot of land or part thereof, against
which the s~ae is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this said improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fm~d to ~ known an~ called "Local Improvement
Fm~d, District No. ~29". .Bonds, bearing interest at 4~, shall be issued in ser-
ial n~Fabers from one to 110, both inclusive, or so many as may be necessary to
provide for the uncollected portion o~' saint district on the date hereinafter fixed,
the s~e to be in denominati:.ns of Two Hm~dred ~llars each~ except the Zlrst which
shall be for such fractional part of Two tIm~dred Dollars as may be remaining due
and ~paid on s~id date, payable from said "Local Improvement Fred, District No.
229"
Section 4. That the 14th day of J~e, 1948, be and the s~e is hereby fixed
for the date of the issuance an~l sale of the bonds to be issued on account of
said improvement.
Section 5. This ordnance shall be in ~11 force and effect after it's pas-
sage ~d publication as provided by law.
