An ordinance appropriating funds for repairs and maintenance in the
Building Department not provided in the budget for the calendar year, and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~;.EHTO~ DO]!iS ORDAIN
Section 1. That since the adoption of a budget for the calenmar
year one of the automobiles operated by inspectors in the Building Depart-
ment has been involved in a collision with another city-owned and operated
motor vehicle and that it is estimated an expenditure of ~80.00 will be
necessary in order to make proper repairs; that this expenditure could not
have been foreseen when the 'budget was prepared and that an emergency
exists by reason of lack of funms for making such repairs; that the stm~ of
~450.00 is hereby appropriated for maintenance and repairs for the Building
Department for the calendar year in order to relieve such emergency.
Section 2. That an emergency exists which affects the public peace,
health and safety of the City of Bremerton and this ordinance shall be
effective i~muediately upon passage a~d publication.
Passed unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor an~ attested by the clerk in authentication of' such
passage this 21st day of January, 1948.
