AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of Rainier Avenue, adjacent to Lot 50,
Block 4, A.K. Velton's First Addition to Charleston.
THE CITY OF BRE}fERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been previously filed with the City Council
a petition requesting that a portion of Rainier Avenue abutting on Lot 50,
Block 4, A.K. Velton's First Addition to Charleston, Kitsap Co~ty, Washing-
ton, be vacabem, ~c that a resolution favoring such vacation was adopted by
the City Co~cil of Bremerbon on ~hs 2nd day of November, 19~9, and setting
the 25rd day of November, 19~9, as the date upon which said petition would
be heard ~d that notice ol'. said hearing has been posted and given in %he m~-
ner required by law.
Section 2. That a. portion of Rainier Avenue in Block ~ of A.K. Velton's
First Addition to Charleston, more particularly described, to-wit:
Beginning at a poin~ on the west margin oi' Lot 50, Block 4, Plat of A.K.
Velton's First Addition to Charleston, 29.7 feet North of the Southwest cor-
ner of said Lot ~0; thence North along saim %~st margin a distance of 5~feet;
thence West .5~ of a fo~g; thence South and parallel %o sai~ West margin of
Lot ~0 a dis%ance of 58 feet; thence East .55 of a foot to~poin~ oi' begin-
ning; Kissap Co~ty, Washington;
be, ~m the s~e hereby is declared vacated and 5he City ClerX is authorized
to certify a copy of 5his ordin~ce to be a true ~d correct copy hereof and
file the s~e for recording by the auditor of Kitsap County, Washington.
