AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton, Washington, providing for the ap-
propriation of ~560,000o00 to Sewage Disposal Construction Fund for comple-
tion of Project No. 1 (East Bremorton Sewage Disposal System), and construct-
ion of Project No. ~ (West Bremerton Sewage Disposal System), including con-
struction of Pump Station No. 10 with pressure lines and appurtenances, ac-
quisition of~ property, legal fees, bond costs, engineering, technical ad~ice
an~ any and all other costs in co~'~ection with the completion of said pro-
jects, and declaring an emergency.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 18~5 passed and approved August ~1, 1~, it
was provided that ~he City should issue and sell sewer revenue bonms in the
principal sum of not to exceed ,~$~0,000o00 for the purpose of providing fu~ds
for the acquisition, ¢o nstr~ction and installation of certain additions and
improvements to the combined water and sewage system of the City, and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 18~8 passed and approved by the City on the
~th day o~' October, 19~9, it was provided that only ~450, 000. 00 of the
000.00 of water and sewer revenue bonds were to b e sold, and
WHEREAS, anticipated revenue from the Unite~ States of America through
the United States Naval Base at Br~merton and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard will
be received by the City in the amount of ~11~,000°00,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF BRE~v!ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That ~h~r~ is h~reby appropriatem the s~a of ~60,O00.00
from the sale of the water and aewer revenue bonds and of the sums ~o be .re-
ceived from the United States of America, to S~wage Disposal Construction
Fund for t~e completion of Project No. 1 (East Bremerton Sewage Disposal Sys-
tem), and construction of Project No° ~ (West Br~.aerton Sewage Disposal Sys-
tem), including construction of P~p Station No. 10 with pressure li~es and
appurtenances an~ including acquisition of property, legal fees, bond costs,
engineering, technical advice and any and all other costs in connectio~ with
the oompletion of said project°
Section 2° An emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary z'or the
i~nediate preservation o~' the public peace, health and safety in the City of
Bremerton and for the purpose of general welfare, a~d the same shall take
effect iir~aediately following passable and publication.

Bremerton, signed by the l~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
