AN ORDINANCE declaring the need for the con(~emnation of certain
real property in Kitsap County for the purpose of obtaining rock and
gravel for street surfacing, directing condemnation of said property
in payment oi' just compensation therefor, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~,'~RTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The following real property situated in Kitsap County,
State of Washington, to-wit:
Lots I to 12, inclusive, Block 2., Leibley & Blumer's First
Addition to Bremerton Heights
is required by the City of Bremerton for the purpose of obtaining grav-
el and rock for street surfacing, and it is necessary that said proper-
ty be acquired by condemnation an~ that just compensation be determined
in such proceeding to be paid to the owners thereof.
Section 2. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to
proceed immediately in behalf of the City of Bremerton with the condem-
nation of said real property in the .Superior Court of the State of
Washington for Kitsap County.
Section 3. An emergency exists affecting the public peace, health
and safety. This ordinance shall become effective in~aediately upon pass-
age and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 5th day of October, 1949.
