AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area Ivlaps of Ordinance ~o. 1792 and declar-
ing an emergency.

Section ~o That pursuant to Resolution No. 30 of the Planning Co~nis-
sion o'~' the City of Bremerton, the Use and Area ~,laps oI' Ordinance No. t79~
be and they are hereby amenmed in coni'ormity with Chapter 1, Title 4, ~here-
oZ' as follows:
Ail property now zoned as Residential 'tl' lying in an area bounded
on the ~orth 'by the alley running East and ~,;/est and lying between
Fifth Street and Sixth Street, on -the West by Anoka Avenue and Ve-
neta Avenue, on-the South by the Puget Sound Naval ~hipyard, and on
theEast by ~arren Avenue, an~ more particularly 5escribed as follows:
Lots 23 to 40 inclusive, Block ~3, and Lots 1 to 18 inclusive, Block
24, Original Town of Bremerton; Lots 16 to 30 inclusive, Block 1,
and all of Blocks 2, 3, and 4, Queen Anne addition; Ail of Block
3, Peter Hesser's First Addition; all oz~ Block 1, Lots 1 to 24 in-
clusive, Block 2, Lots 3 to 13 inclusive, Block 3, and all of
Blocks 4, 5 and 6, Philli~s Addition, be ~nd the smme is rezoned
from Residential nl" to a Residential "~" Zone.
Section 2. An emergency exists, and this 0rdinmace is necessary for the
immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety in the City of Brem-
erton, an~i for the purpose oz' general welt'are, anti the same shall take effect
in~ediately following passage ~nd publication.
