THE C~0F ~RE~¥~ERTON ~ES 0RDAIN:
Sect~o~ ~ that Section 5 of 0r~inance No. 18Z7, dated April ~7, 1~49
and entitled "A~ orminance relating to ~m regulating the location, storage,
transportation, h~ndli~g, an~use cz' liquefied pe-trole~ gases known as 'bu-
tte, propane and ~thers; providing a permi~ therefor, proviming a penalty
for the violation o~this ordinance, anm declaring ~ emergency" 0e and the
s~e is hereby muen~e~ to read as follows:
Section 5. No liquefied petrolemn gas shall be kept,, stored or used
in the First Fire Zone ~cept in metal cylinders approved for interstate
tr~sportation oI~ liquefia~ petro!e~ gas by the United States Interstate
Co~erce Conm~ssion, ~m n~e oI' such 'cylinders shall have a water capacity
cZ' more than Iour (4) cubic ~eet. No more than two of ~y such tanks shall
be installed at any one Zocat~n. ~
No liquefied petrole~ ga~shall be kept or stored for use cz cons~np-
tion on the premises in the Second Fire Zone e:~[cept in metal cyli~ders ap-
proved for interstate transportat~n cZ' liquefied petrole~n gases by the
United States Interstate Co~m~erce ~issi~n having a water capacity of
more than 7~5 cubic feet oi' which tk~re shall be no more than eight in any
one installation, or except.in approve~ stationary t~ks having a water cap-
acity of~not more th~ twelve h~dred g~llons. No portable tank or contain-
er usem Ior liquefied petrote~ gas shal~be refilled in the First or Sec-
ond Fire Zones, except in a cylinder filling plant approved as provided by
Section 6~ ~
No liquefied petrole~ gas shall be kep~ stored or used in the ~hird
Fire Zon~ except in apt]rove~ stationary ~ks ~aving a water capacity of
no~ more ~han ~200 gallons, or in metal cylinde~ approved for inter~tate
transportation cz~ liquefied pet~ole~ gas by the ~nited Sta~es Interstate
C~unerce ~o~ission; an~ none oI such cylinders sh~l have a water capacity
oI more t~an 7.7~ cu. ft. Not more ~han ~wo oi' ~y~uch cylinders shall be
installed in any one location~ ~
