AN ORDINANCE adopting daylight saving time for the City of Bremerton
~or the year 1949, an~ declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1o That at 12:01 o'clock A.Mo oi'~the 1st day oi' June, 1949,
stanmard time in the City of Bremerton shall be a~vanced one hour, and at
12:01 o'clock A.~. the first day of October, 1w49~ standard time in the
City of Bremerton shall be retarde~ one hour by r~turning to standard time,
so that between the 1st ~ay oI' Jm~e and the 1st ~ay o~' October, 1949, stan-
dard time in the City o~' Bremerton shall be one hour in a~vance of ~aci.I'ic
Stanmard time.
Section 2. This ordinance is necessary ~'or the preservation o~' the
general welfare oI' the City of Bremerton an~u shall take effect i~nediately
upon passage and puolication as provimed by law.
