THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON ~ES ORDAIN: Section 1. 'I~at pu~?suant to mirection of the Pollution Commission oz' the State of ~ashington, the City of Bremerton has ham preparem plans anm specifi- cations for a sewage disposal plant within sai~ city anm has awarde, d a con~ract for the co~str~ction oi~ ~ i~terceptor sewer over an~ across the beach of Wash- ington Narrows. That in ormer to construct saim pipeline, it is necessary I~or the city to acquire a perpetual easement to construct, maintain, repair, replac ,anm use sewer pipe lines and necessary appurtenances t~ereto over and across th following ~racts o~' l~m in the City of Bremerton: Tract ~. That attempts have been made to acquire saim easements by negotiation without success and that it now appears necessary that said property be acquired by condenuaation and that just compensation thereI'or be netermined in such pro- ceedings to be palm to the owners thereof. Ordinance 1821 (Con,t) Section 9.. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized anm directed to proceed immediately with the condemnation oI' said real property in the Super- ior Court of the STate of Washington for Kitsap County. Section 3. That an emergency exists affecting the public peace, safety and health, and this ordinance shall be effective in~aediately following passa~ and publication.
