repealing Ordinance No. 1722 and alt other ordinances in conflict there-
with and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON .DOE~ ORDAIN:
Section 1. That every appointive officer and every employee oI' the
City or Bremerton saall, before entering upon the discharge of the duties
of his ox'lice or employment, give a surety ~ond payable to the City in
the amount hereinai'ter designated an¢~ conditioned upon the per,ordnance of
the duties of the office or employment and for a proper accounting of all
City property that may come into his possession by virtue of his oI'fice
or employment. Such bond or bonds shall be approved as to form by the
City Attorney and as to sufficiency by the City Council and which 0onds
~hall be filed in the Office oI' the City Clerk.
The amount Of liability for every cz'ricer and employee covered by
said bond or bonds, shall be the sum of ~2,500.00 each and may be the
public employee's faithful performance blanket position bond, except that
bond or bonds for 'the following oI'flcers and employees as to whom the
amount oI' the oond or bonds shall be that specified opposite the position
below noted.

Auditor 5,000.00

Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1Vt2 and all ot~er Ordinances or parts
of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That an emergency exists which affects the puOlic peace,
health and safety of the City o~' Bremerton and this Ordinance shall be
effective immediately upon passage and pu011cation.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 29th day of December, 1950.
