AN ORDINANCE amending Use anm Area ~Qaps of Ordinance No. 1752 and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 34 of the Planning
Commission of the City of Bremerton, mhe Use anm Area ~iaps of Ordinance
No. 1792. be and they are hereby amended in conz'ormity with Chapter l,
Title 4 thereof, as follows:
The East ll$ feet oz' the property on 'the West sime
of WinI'ield Avenue (Highway El-B) z'rom 'the ~anette
Bridge North to l~th Street, together with Lots 4 to
9, inclusive, Nava± Addition to Decatur, Kitsap County,
Washington, 0e rezoned as "Business Zone".
Section 2. That pursuant to Resolution No. $.4 of the Planning Com-
mission of the City of Bremerton, the Use anm Area ~.~aps oi' Ordinance No.
1792 be and they are 'hereby amended in conformity with Chapter l, Title
4 thereof, as follows:
All property lying between the ~Ianette Brimge and
East 16th Street and the Gover~nent meander line and
Winfield Avenue, except the East llS feet of the
'property on the West sime of Win~ield Avenue (Highway
'21'B) from the Manette Bridge North to 13th Street,
and except Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, Naval Addition to
~Decatur,~be rezoned as "Residential 2" zone.
Section ~. An emergency exists, and this ordinance is necessary
for the imn~ediate preservation of public peace, health and sai'ety in
the City of Bremerton, aA~ for the purpose of general welfare, and the
same Shall take effect immediately following passage anm publication.
PASSED and APPROVED unanimously by ~he City Co~cil of the City of
Bremerton anm signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authen-
tication ox~ such passage, this 28th day of June, 1950.
