AN ORDINANCE adopting daylight saving time for the City
of Bremerton for the year 1950, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE]~,'iERTON WES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That at 2:00 o'clock A.M. of the 30th day of
April, 1950, standard time in the City of Bremerton shall be
advanced one hour,, and at 12:01 o'clock A.M., the 24th day
of September,. t9S0 daylight saving time in the City of Brem-
erton shall be retarmed one hour by returning to standard
time, so that between the 30th day oi' April, 1950 and the 24th
day of September, 1950, daylight saving time in the City of
Breme~ton sha±l be one hour in advance of Pacii'ic Standard
Time.
Section 4. An urgency ana emergency for the passage of
this ordinance is hereby declare~ to, anm does exist due to
the fact that insufficient time remains between the date of
the adoption of dayligh~ saving time by the City of Seattle.
and the 30th day of April, 1950, for the passage of this ord-
inance without an emergency, and this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force iz~ediately upon its pas6age and pub-
lication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Cotmcil o~' the City of
Bremerton, signed by ~he f~ayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this 5th day of April, 1950o
