AN ORDINANCE providing for the zoning of' the City of Bremerton into fire
districts ana establishing the limits of such districts and repealing Ordinan
No. 1585 and all other ordinances an~ parts of ordinances in conflict therewi
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES OI~{DAIN:
Section 1. Ail t~_at portion oF the City o£ Bremerton embrace~ with the
following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 1-1:
Fire Zone t-1:
Ail of Blocks 1 to ~ inclusive, Blocks 5 to 10 inclusive
and Blocks 1~ to 16 inclusive, Original Town of Brsmerton.
Ail of Lots 1 to 7 inclusive and South one-half ol~ Lot 8,
Block 4, Original Town o£ Bremerton.
And all that area described as £ollows:
Beginning at vhe northwest corner of Sixth Street and
Pacific Avenue; thence West 10~ feet to the alley; thence
North along said a±ley to Seventh Street; thence East to
a point on the East margin of kacific Avenue~ ~18o8 feet
North of the North margin of Sixth Street; thenc~ contin-

Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 14, Capital Hill
Addition to Bremerton, said point being on the South line
of Eleventh Street; thence West along said South line of
Eleventh Street produced West a distance of 662.63 feet
to the North-South center line of Section 15, Township 24
North, Range I East,,. W.M.; thence North along said North-
South center line to the South margin of Primary State
Highway No. 21; thence Easterly along said South margin
of Primary State Highway No. 21 to a point 117.76 feet
East of the East margin of Wilbert Avenue; thence South
to the North line of Capitol Hill Addition to Bremerton;
thence West along said North line of Capitol Hill Addition
to the Northwest corner of Lot 13, said addition; thence

center line of Primary State Highway No. 21.
Section lC. All that portion of the City of Bremerton embraced
within the following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 2-9:
Fire Zone 2-9
That portion of Lots 13 and 22 lying within the corporate
limits of the City of Bremerton and all of Lots 14 to 21
inclusive, Block l, and the South 120 feet of Block 2,
Goodfellow's Navy Yard Tracts.
Section ll. All that portion of the City of Bremerton embraced
within the following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 2-10:
Fire Zone 2-10
Lots 13 to 18 inclusive, Block 6, Midway Addition.
And all that area described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Wycoff Avenue and
Fifteenth Street; thence North along the West margin of
Wycoff Avenue to a point 77 feet North of the North
margin of Fifteenth Street; thence East to the West
margin of CaLlow Avenue; thence South along said West
margin of CaLlow Avenue to the South margin of Fil'teenth
Street; thence East along said South margin of Fifteenth

Line.
Section 1V. All that portion of the City of Bremerton embraced
within the following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 3-3:
Fire Zone 3-3
Lots l, 22 and 23, Joseph Daly's Garden Tracts.
All of Supplemental Plat of Bayview Garden Tracts.
And all that area described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East margin of Thompson Drive,
410 feet North of the North margin of Fifteenth Street;
thence North along said East margin of Thompson Drive to
the South Boundary line of Supplemental Plat of Bayview
Garden Tracts; thence East along said South line of Sup-
plemental Plat of Bayview Garden Tracts 134.86 feet;
thence South to a point 410 feet North of the North
margin of Fiz'teenth Street; thence West to the East
margin of Thompson Drive, the point of beginning.
Section 18. All that portion of the City of Bremerton embraced
within the following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 3-4:

All that area described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Naval Avenue and
Ninteenth Street; thence South along the West margin
of Naval Avenue a distance of 666.12 feet; thence West
330.62 feet; thence South 289.18 feet; thence West
492.07 feet to a point 220 feet East of the East margin
of Rainier Avenue; thence North 11°36'01'' East a distance
of 974.53 feet to the South margin of Nineteenth Street,
~ ich point is 420 feet East of the East margin of Rainier
Avenue; thence East along said South line of Nineteenth
Street to the Southwest corner of Naval Avenue and said
Nineteenth Street, the point of beginning.
Section 19. All that portion of the~City oflBremerton embraced
within the following described limits shall be Fire Zone No. 3-5:
Fire Zone 3-5
Lots i to 9 inclusive, Block 9, and Lots i to 3 inclusive,
Block 10, Decatur.
Lots 9 and 10, Block 2, Bender's Addition to Decatur.
Section 20. All other portions of the City of Bremerton not describ-
ed in the preceding sections shall be designated as Fire Zone No. 4. Per-
mits shall be issued for the erection, construction or moving of buildings
or structures within or into Fire Zones l, 2, 3, and 4.

Section 21. That an emergency exists affecting the public peace,
health, saZ'ety an¢{ weir'are, and this ordinance shall b e effective i~mmed-
lately following passage and publication.
PASSED and approved unanimously by the City Council o~' the City of
Bremerton, signed by the ~.ayor anm attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 20th day of January, 1950.
