AN ORDINANCE amending section 24 of Ordinance No. 325
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 24 of Ordinance No. 325 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 24. Lotteries. It shall be unlawful for any
person to open, conduct, maintain or carry on, or be in
any manner connected with any lottery, or t o sell any lot-
tery ticket or any chance.
Section 2. That there exists and is hereby declared
to exist an emergency affecting the public peace, health
and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect UPon pas-
sage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 1st day of
October, 1951.
