AN ORDINANCE amending Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1905, as
amended by Ordinances Nos. 1928 and 19~6 and declaring an
emergency.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Bremerton adopted Ordin-
ance No. 1928, providing for the private collection of garbage
in the City of Bremerton and est~..blishing rates therefor and
that said Ordinance 1928 amended Section 14, of Ordinance No.
1905 relative to rates to he charged, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1956 amended Section 14 of Ordinance
No. 1928 and there being no Section l~ of Ordinance No. 1928, an
error was made, and
WHEREAS, the intention was to amend Section l~ of 0rc~ nance
No. 1905 as amended by Ordinance No. 19~8,
THE CITY OF BRF~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. ~i~hat Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1905 as amended
by Ordinance No. 19E8 be and the same hereby is corrected to es-
tablish as Section 14 oi~ said Ordinance No. 1908 as amended,, the
rates as set out in Ordinance No. 19~6.
Section 2. That by reason or' the mistake in the title of
Ordinance No. 19~6 and the attempt to amend a Section of Ord-
inance No. 19E8 not therein incorporated, there exists and is
he~reby declare~ to exes. t, an emergency affecting the public peace
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton, and
this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and
public ation.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the ~¥~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in auth-
entication of such passage this ~Sth day of July, 1951.
