AN ORDINANCE adopting daylignt saving time for the City of
Bremerton for the year 1951, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BR~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That two oJdlock A.M. oz' the 29th day of April,
1951, Standard Time in the City of Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washing-

ton, shall be advanced one hour; and that at 2:01 o clock A.M. of the
30th day of September, 1~51, Daylight Saving Time in the City of
Bremerton, shall be retarded by one hour by then returning to Stan-
dard time, so that between the 29th day of April, 1951 and the 30~h
day of September, 1951, Daylight Saving Time in the City of Bremerton
shall be one hour advanced of Pacific Standard Time.
Section 2. An urgency and emergency by the passage of this ord-
inance is hereby declared to and does exist, due to the fact that in-
su~'ficient time remains between the date of the adoption of Daylight
Saving Time by the City of Seattle, Washington and the 29th day of
April, 1951, i'or the passage oi' this ordinance without an emergency
clause and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediate-
ly upon this passage and pu01ication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the ~layor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
