AN OhDINANCE vacating a certain po.~?tion of Lincoln Avenue situated.
in the City of Bremerton.
THE CITY OF BREI'~!ERTON iJOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. ~'h. at there has been previously filed witL the City
Council a petition requesting that a. portion of Lincoln Avenue in the
City of Bremerton, County of l(itsap, State of '~ashington, be vacated,
and that a resolution favorin~£ vacation of the property herein des-
cribed was adopted by the City Council of the City of Bremerton on
the 19th day of November, 1952, and settin[~ the 10th day of December,
195~, as t!_..e date upon which said petition would be heard, and notice
of said hearing has been posted an~ &iven in the manner provided by
1 aw.
Section 2. ~'hat that portion of Lincoln Avenue describe~q as fol-
lows, to-wit:
That portion of Lincoln Avenue lying between Lots 1
and 16, Boe's First Addition to Bremerton, Kitsap
Comaty, Washington;
be, and Zhe s~me hereby is declared vacated but the City of Bremerton
does hereby reserve and retain an easement for any public utilities,
including sewer and wa~er lines, telepho'ne and power cables which may
now be under the surface of any o.f the area vacated and said City also
retains the right 'to exercise and grant easements in respect to the area
he~.eby vacated for the construction, repair and maintenanc~ of public
utilities and services.
Section ~. The City ulerk cz~ the City of Bremerton is authorized
to certify a copy of this ordinance to be a true and correct copy there-
of and file the s~tm for z~ecordin[~ by the Auditor of Kitsap County~
Washington.
APPR0~D on first reading this 10th dtay of December, 195~.
PASSED .on second reading by' the City' Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the ~'~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this 17th day of December, !95~.
