AN ORDINANCE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for Local
Improvement District No. ~49, providing for the improvement of Yantic
Avenue from Farragut Street to Porter Street as in said ordinance describ-
ed; providing for the levying and assessing of ~he costs and ~xpenses
of against the parcels ~d lots of land between th~ ~rminl and within the
boundaries of said improvement district, providing for the collection there.
of; creating and establishing a special fund therefor, and fixing the ~at~
for th~ issuance of bon~]s in payment thereof.
THE CITY 0F BRE~ERTON ~ES O~DAIN.
S~ction 1. That th~ assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No. ~9 providing for th~ improvement of Yantic Avenu~ from Farragut
Str~t to Porter Str~ev by th~ construction of concr~t~ curbs and gutters,
together with the doing of any and all o~h~r work in connection therewith
as may b~ necessary to make such improve~nts a complet~ job, all
accordanc~ with the plans and specifications on file in the offic~ of th~
City Clerk and as provided by ~d ¥]escrib~ in Ordinanc~ ~o. 1975 be and
the s~e is h~r~by approved and confirmed.
S~ction ~. That each parcel and lot of land or part t~r~of~ as
sho~ in said assessment roll, is specially b~nefit~d by said improvements,
and that ther~ b~ and hereby is assessed against each parcel ~nd lot of
land and part thereof and other property contained in said improvement
district as shown in said roll, including the property ~longing to the
City of Bremerton ~ they r~sp~ctive ~ounts in s ai~ roll set against
each parcel or lot and or part thereof, and other property ~tween the
te~ini of said impro~ement abutting upon, adjacent or proximat~ to said
street, and such ~o~ts so assessed are h~reby declared to be first li~n
against each parcel or lo~ of land or part thereof against which the same
is assessed in said roll.
Section ~. ~hat for the p~ose of ~is improvement there is h~r~by
created ~d established a special fund to be known ~d called "Local
Improvement Fun~ oistrict No. ~9. Bonds, b~aring interest at ~ shall b~
issued in serial n~nbers from one to twenty-on~, both inclusive, or so many
as may be necessary to provide for the uncollected portion of said
special assessment5 ~t:?~a ~::,~ o?~i~Z for the ~collect~d portion of said
district on the date hereinafter fixed, the same to be in denomlnatioas of
One Hundred ~!lars each, except the first which shall ~e for such fraction-
al part of One Hundred ~llars as may be remaining due and unpaid on said
date, payable f~m said "Local Improw~men~ Fund, District No.
Section 4. ~l~at the 10th day of December, leSS, be and the s~e is
hereby fixed for the date of the issuar~ce and sale of the bonds to be is-
sued on account of said improvement.
Section 8. ~'hat this o}?dinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty days from its passa6e and publication, as provided by law.
