Section 2. That the separate total sums set forth in Section i here- of, for each of said departments as particularly itemized in the "Official Preliminary Budget 1953, City of Bremerton," on file in the office of DUe City Clerk oi' the City of Bremerton, as revised and amended, be and the same are hereby appropriated to each oI' the said departments for the fis- cal year 1953. Section 3. ~his ordinance shall be in full force and effect immed- iately I'ollowing passage and publication as provided by law. Section 4. Not~ing contained herein shall ~ construed to require the City of Bremerton or its oI'ficers to I~ill any vacancy in any of the positions established by this ordinance resulting from t~e discharge, resignation or retirement of such employee. Nothing herein contained shall require the City of Bremerton, or its oI'ficers, Do pay the maximum amount budgeted i~or any position shown therein.
