AN ORDINANCE regulating trailers and s:aending Section $ of
Ordinance No. 1412 and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREi~,IElfTON J)0ES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1412 be and hereby
is amended to read as follows:
Section 3. It shall ~e unlawful to use any vehicle from
which the wheels have been removed for sleeping, eating
or iivinL~ quarter.~ within the City Limits of' the City of
Bremerton, unless the said vehicle shall, in all parti-
culars, comply with the re.~uirements cz' the City build-
ing, electrical and plumbing codes for new construction;
e:~cept, such vehicle may be used in an area developed for
temporary housing, ii' o~' a type approved by the City Health
Department a~d the PlumOing Inspector and having self-con-
tained lavoratory, Voilet and sink facilities connected
to the City sewer with traps and ven~s as shall be requir-
ed by 'the Department and Inspector, without complying with
such codes.
Section 2. l'hat due to ~he necessity for additional housing
within the City oi' Breme~.ton, ~here exists and is hereby declared
to exist an emergency and ~his ordinance is necessary ~'or the immed-
iate preserWation of the public peace, health and safety o~' ~he cit-
izens o~' Bremerton and this ordinance shall be in effect immediately
following passage ~nd puolication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council, signed by the ~¢~ayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication thereof this 2~rd day
