, AN ORDINANCE adopting Daylight Saving Time for the
City of Bremerton for the year 1952 and declaring an
emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~dERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That two o'clock (2:00) A.M. of the 2Vth
day of April, 1952, Standard Time in tile City of Bremerton,
Kitsap County, Washington, shall be advanced one (1) hour
and t:'~at at two o'clock (2:00) A.Mo oi' the 28th day of
September, 1952, Daylight Saving Time in the City of Brem-
erton shall be retarded one hour then returning to Standard
l'ime so that between the ~Vth day of April, 1952, at two
o'clock (2:00) A.M. and the 28th day of September, 1952 at
two o'clock (2:00) AoMo Daylight Saving Time in the City of
Bremerton shall be one (1) hour in ~dvance of Pacii'tc
Standard Time.
Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist
due to insui'ficient time remaining between the date of a-
doption of Daylight Saving Time by theCity of Seattle,
Washington, and the 2?th day of April, 1952, for the pass-
age of this ordinance without an emergency clause, and this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately
upon passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in autl~entication cz' such passage this 2nd day of
April, 1952.
