AN OHDINANCE accepting and incorporating into the corporate
limits or the City oi' Bremerton certain land now lying outside of
the limits or said City lyina~ contiguous ~o said City, and declar-
ing an ~m~rgency.
T~ CITY OF BRE~dERTON ~ES ORDAIN:
Section 1. WHEREAS~ a petition signed by the owner of all
propeP~y hereinafter described has been riled with the City Co~mcil
of the City of Bremerton rot ~nexation or said property ~d the
Co~cil has directed that notice of ~he hearing on said petition is
to be held on ~ednesday, the 8nd day of April~ leS~ at the hour of
ten o'clock (10:00) A.},~[. and that said no6ice has been published in
the Bremerton Sun, ~he official newspaper of the City of Bremerton,
and tha~ three (S) copies of ~he said no,ice of said hearing have
been posted in three (S) pu01ic places in and upon the property
petitioned ~o he annexed to the City and ~hat a public hearing on
said petition for annexation was held on the Znd day of April~ le8~,
and following ~he hearing the City Co~cil has determined to annex
the property described in said petition rot annexation.
Section ~. The following desc~bed tract of land is hereby and
is by this Ordinance adopted and incorporated within, and does here-
by Oecome a part or ~he City of Bremerton, to-wit:
Ail of the East half or the Southe~}st quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section Z, i'ownship ~ North, Range
1 East, ~Vill~ette ~deridian; EkCEPT 01~pic ~¥[anor, accord-
ing to plat thereof, Kitsap Co~ty, Washington.
Section S. That by reason of the annexation of said described
property an emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance is necessary for the i~ediate preservation of the
public peace, health and saz'ety of t~e citizens of Bremerton, ~d
this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect following its pas-
sage and publication.
PASSED ~animously by the City Co~cil or the City of BremePto~,
signed by the }.{ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this Znd day of April~ 1~.
