AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1792, and declaring an emer-
gency:
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 44 of the Planning
Con~ission oB the City of Bremerton, the Use and Area ~aps oi' Ordin-
ance No. 1792 be and they are hereby amended in conformity with Ohap-
ter l, Title 4 thereof, as follows:
(a) That portion of the following described tract ~ich lies with-
in the city limits of the City of Bremerton: Portion of Southwest
quarter of Bouthwest quarter of Government Lot l, Section 15, Town-
ship 24 North, Range i East, N.~., described as follows: Beginning
6.90 chains East and 14.68 chains North of Southwest corner of said
Section 15;.thence North to the meander line of Oyster Bay; thence
along said meander line Easterly to the West Line of National City
as per plat thereof recorded in Vol~ae 2 of Plats on page Z$, rec-
ords of Kitsap County; thence South along the West line of said
plat to a point due East of the point of beginning; thence West to
the point of beginning, EXCEPT portion lying northerly of State
Highway and EXCEPT any portion deeded to State of Washington for
highway ~y deed July 1Z, 1~25, recorded July 21, 1925, Auditor's
File No. 14Z~98 and by deed dated May 14, 1942, recorded July 15,
1942, Auditor's File No. Z62664, situate in Kitsap County, ~ash-
ington.
(b) Lots 15 to 28 inclusive, Block 6, Plat of National City, Kit-
sap Cotmty, Washington.
(c) Lots i to 14 inclusive, Block 7, Plat of National City, less
portions thereof taken ~or State Highway #21, Ki~sap County, Nash-
ington.
(d) Lots 9 to 12 inclusive less portions thereo~' taken Z~or State
Highway #21, and Lots 1G to 20 inclusive, all in Block I, Oyster
Bay Addition to Port Orchard Navy Yard, Kitsap County, Washington.
(e) All of Lots 21 to Z1 inclusive and Lo~s ~2,$Z,$~ and ~, less
portions thereof ~aken ~'or State Highway #21, all in Block H, Oyster
Bay Addition to Port Orchard Navy Yard, Kitsap County, Washington.
and
Part of Southwest quarter of Southwest quarter of Section 14, Town-
ship 24 North, Range i East, W.N., described as follows: Beginning
140 feet West of Northeast corner of said Southwest quarter of South-
west quarter; thence west 50 feet; thence south 132 feet; thence
east 50 feet; thence north 132 feet to point oi' beginning; EXCEPT
north 30 feet for street; situate in Kitsap County, Washington
is rezoned I'rom Residential One to Business.
Section 2. Than an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessaz7
for the immediate preservation oi' public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton, and for the purposes oF general welfare,
and the same shall take effect in~ediately following passage mud publica-
tion.
PASSED and APPROVED unanimously by the City Council of the city of
Bremerton and signed by the ~ayor and attested by the Cler~ in authentica-
tion oi' such passage, this ~6th day oI~ ~iarch, 1952.
