AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating into the corporate limits
of the City of Bremerton certain land now lying outside the limits of
said City but lying contiguous to said City and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1o WHEREAS, a.~petition signed by the owners oI' more than
seventy-five (?55) per cent in value according to the assessed value
for taxation of the property hereinaI'ter described has been fi±ed wittl
the CityCouncit of the City of Bremertom Nd the Council has directed
that notice oi' hearing to be held on the 19th day oI' ~,~arch, 1952, at
the hour of 10~o'clock A.M., and t~a~ said notice has been given by
publication in the Bremerton Stm, the oi'ficial newspaper of the City of
Bremerton, and that three copies oi' said notice oI' said hearing=
been posted in three pu01ic places in and upon the propert? petitioned
to 0e annexed and that a public hearing upon said petition was held on
the 19th day of March, 1952, and following such pu01ic hearing the City
Council of the City of Bremerton has determined to annex the property
described in the petition I'or annexation.
Section 2o The following-described tracts of land are hereby and
are by this ordinsmce adopted and incorporated within and do hereby be-
come a part of the City cz' Bremerton, to-wit:
Ail of Olympic ~;lanor, according to plat thereof recorded in
the office of the County Auditor of Kitsap County, Washing-
ton; the West one hall' oi' the Southeast quarter of the South.
east quarter of Section 2, Twp, 24 North, Range 1, E.W.M.;
and Lots 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Sylvan Park Addition, accord-
ing to plat thereof recorded in the office of the County Aud-
itor; all in Kitsap County, State of ~ashington;
Section 3° That by reason oI' ~he annexation oi' said described pro-
perty an emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist and this ord-
inance is necessary for the inn?~ediate preservation of the public peace,
health and sai'ety of the citizens of Bremerton, and this ordinance shall
be in full l'orce and effect following its passage and pu~lication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the ~layor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
