AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area Maps of Ordinance No. 1792 and de-
claring an emergency.
THE CIT~r 0F BRk~,tERTON DOES OHDA!N:
Section 1. That pursuant to resolutions Nos. 40, 4~. and 43 of the City
Planning Commission, the Use and Area l~iaps of Ordinance No. 1792, shall be
amended in conformity with ~hapter 1, Title 4, thereof, as follows:
Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 inclusive, and Lo'~s 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32,
inclusive, Block B~ Oyster Bay Addition, Kitsap County, Washington, Real pro-
perty on the south side oL State Highway No. 21, near Adele Avenue, more par-
ticularly described as follows: Beginning at ~he southeast corner of the
north half of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter oi' the southeast
quarter of Section 15, township 24 north, range 1 East, W.M.~ thence west 310
feet to the true point oi~ beginning; thence north 187 feet, more or less, to
south ~ine of westerly prolongation of Eleventh Street extended as shown on
plat of Capitol Hill Addition to Bremerton, according to plat thereoi~ record-
ed in volume 5 oi' plats, page 22, records of said county; thence west along
south line extended 350 feet, more or less, to the west line of the north-
west quarter of the southeast quarter; thence south 187 feet, more or less,
to south boundary line of said north half of the northwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said section; thence east 350
feet, more or less, to point of beginning, Kitsap County, Washington, and
Lots 5 to l0 inclusive, Block C, Oyster Bay Addition to Port Orchard,
Navy Yard, Kitsap County~,~.~ja~h~.i~n.g~t~n, be rezoned from Residential One to Bus-
iness, and a portion oi'J'S~'~'t~6'~'l'4-[ Township 24 North, Range i East, W.M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said section 14; thence along the
north line oI' said section 14, South 88°28~45'' East 280.01 feet; thence South
lO23,00w West 15.00 ~eet to thee true point of begJnning of this tract; thence
South 88o28,45" East 921.V4 feet; thence South 43~35~03'' East 85.00 feet;
thence South 1°19~20'' West 591.10 feet; thence north 88°26,00'' West 270.62
feet; thence South 1°19'59'' West 259.18 feet; thence North 88°23~14'' West
133.83 feet; thence along an arc of a curve to the right having a radius of
373.52 feet and subtending a central angle of 3o05,10" 20.12 feet; thence
North 88°23~14'' west 261.30 feet; thence along an arc of a curve to the left
having a radius of 524.22 feet and subtending a central angle of 5°28,23",
50.07 feet; thence North 88°23,14" West 316.61 feet to the east margin of
Rainier Avenue; thence along the east margin of Rainier Avenue North 1°23'00"
east 938.96 feet to the true point of beginning, Kitsap County, Washington;
EXCEPTING therefrom property previously rezoned by Ordinance 1950, be rem ned
from Residential One to Residential Two.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for
the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety of the citizens
of the City of Bremerton and for the purposes of general welfare, and ~he
same shall take effect immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton and signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk, in authentica-
tion oI' such passage this 8th day of February, 1952.
