AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area Maps of Ordinance No. 1V92 and declaring
an emergency:
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 41 of the City
Planning Commission, the Use and Area Maps of Ordinance No. 1792,
shall be amended in conformity with Chapter l, Title 4 thereof, aa
follows:
Those portions of Lots 33 to 40 inclusive, and Lots 57 to
84 inclusive, and streets adjoining in Sylvan Park, according
to plat thereof recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, page 48, records
of said county, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the quarter corner common to Sections 1
and 12, Township 24 North, Range i East, W.M.; thence
North 2°09'22'' East along the center line of said section
l, a distance oi' 30.00 feet; thence North 89o07'30" West
a disOance of 280.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence North 2°09'22'' East 1284.45 feet, more or less, to
the South line of Sylvan Way; thence North 89°02'38'' West
along the south line of Sylvan Way 450.00 feet, more or less,
to the easterly right of way line of Halverson Avenue as now
existing; thence southerly along the easterly right of way
of Halverson Avenue to the south line of said Section l;
thence South 89°07'30'' to a point on the south line of said
Section l, which bears South 89°07'30'' east, 1832.$8 feet from
the southwest corner of s aid Section l; thence South l°AS'OO''
Nest ~0 feet, more or less, to the north right-of-way line of
East ~lst Street; thence in an easterly direction along the north
right-of-way line of East 31st Street, as now existing 580
feet, more or less, to an intersection of a line which bears
South 2°09~22'' West from the true point of beginning; thence
North 2o09,22, East 2.70 feet, more or le~s, to the true point
of beginning,
Situate in Kitsap County, State of Washington, shall be rezoned
from Residential i to Residential 2.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary
for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety of
the citizens of the City of Breme~ton and for the purposes of general
welfare, and the same shall take effect immediately following passage and
publication.

PASSED AND APPROVED unanimously by the City Council of the.City
of Bremerton and signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk, in authentication
of such passage, this 23rd day of January, 1982.
