AN ORDINANCE relating to the municipal water supply
and providing for connections to new mains and amending
Ordinance No. 1871 by adding thereto a new section to be
known as Section 6d.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 18?l be, and hereby is
amended by adding thereto a new section designated as Sec-
tion 6d.
Section 6d. In addition to the charges, fees and
costs set out in Sections 6a, 6b and 6c, applicants
for water service in areas wher'e new or enlarged
mains are required to be laid to provide such ser-
vice shall pay the sum of $1.50 per foot for mains
laid inside the, city limits of Bremerton and $2.50
per foot for mains laid outside the city limits, if
the cost of such new or enlarged main~is not paid
through a local improvement district or by w, ritten
agreement of the abutting property owners. Such'
payment shall be made in cash prior to connecting
the property to such main or under an agreement
providing for installment payments of $2.00 or more
per month, provided that any such contract for pay-
ment shall not extend over more than thirty-six
months from the date of the initial payment.
APPROVED on first reading this 23rd day of September,
1983.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 30th day of Sept-
ember, 1953.
