City of Bremerton certain land lying outside the limits of the 'jify of Bremer-
ton an,~ being:; contiguous to the City of Bremerton and declari~g an emergency.
THE CITY 0F B~,~ER~ON ~ES ORDAIN:
Sec'tion 1. ~hereas, a petition signed by the owners of more than seven-
ty-five per cent bi~ 5he assessed valuation of the property hereinafter des-
c~.bed has been filed with the City Council of the City of Bremerton and the
Council has directed that notice of the hearing of the petition be given and
thereafter a public he~ring was held on the 26th day of August, 19[~, a~]~t fol-
lowing such public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said des-
cribed property.
Section 2. Tha~ the following described tract of land is hereby, and by
this or~i~a~-~ce adopted and incorporated within and becomes a part of the City
of ~remerton, to-wit:
Ail of that portion of the East 602.71 feet of the Northeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 24 North, R~nge 1
Es.st, Willamette ~eridian lying North of the South line o]~ the three
following described tracts:
(1) That certain uract of land described as follows: From the ~4ortb-
esst corner of Section 11, Township 24 No~'th, Range 1 East, Will~ette
~..?eri~tian; running thence North 89°15'16'' West along the existing fence
for a distance of ~6~.11 feet to an iron pipe men,sent and exter~ding
5he said line North 89°15'16'' West for a distance of S0 feet to a con-
crete monument, the true point of beginning: thence South 1°24~22''

east quarter of the Northeast quarter; thence North 100 feet; thence

of begin~ing.

of Section 12, Township 24 North, Range 1 East; and the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East, not now lying within the City Limits of the City of
Bremerton, Washington.

Section ~. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for
the i~modiate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and this ordinance shall ~ in full
force and effect following passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
b.y the ~ayor and attest by the City Clerk tn authentication of such passage
this 26th day of Au6ust, 195~.
