AN ORD!NJ~CE vacating certain property heretofore ~edicated
as street and alley situated in the City of Bremerton.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON OOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. What th:~re has been previously filed with the City
Council a petition requesting that certain property heretofore ded-
icate~t for stree~ and alley p~rposes in the City of Bremerton, County
of Kitsap, State of Washington, be vacated, and that a resolution
favoring the vacation was adopted by the City Council of Bremerton
on the 17th day of December, 1952, and setting the Vth day of Janu-
ary, 195~, as the date upon which said petition would be heard and
that notice of said hearing has been posted and given in the manner
provided by law.
Section 2. That the portions of said street and alley are more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
North 26 feet of the South 30 feet, and an alley 16 feet
in width, i~eing 8 feet on each side of the centerline, of
the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township
~4 North, Range i East, W.M., Kitsap County, Washington;
be and the same hereby are declared vacated but the City of Bremerton
does hereby reserve an5 retain an easement for any public utilities
including sewer sn~ water lines, t~lephone and power cables which may
now be under the surface of any of the areas vacated, and the City of
Bremerton also retains the right to exercise and grant easements in
respect to the areas hereby vacated for the construction, repair and
maintenance of public utilities and services.
The City Clerk is authorized to certify a copy of this ordinance
to be a true and correct copy hereof and to file the same for record-
ing by the Auditor of Kitsap County, Washington.
APPROVED on first reading this 7th day of January, 1953.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the Mayor sn~ attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this 14th day of January, 1953.
