AN ORDINANCE providing for the abandonment of all unexpended funds
appropriated in the 1954 budget, excepting certain designated'funds,
and providing that certain designated funds shall 0e carried forward and
remain in full force and effect, and be held available for the purpose
of such budgetary appropriation, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~IERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That all sums provided in the budget for the year 1954
which remain unexpended on January 20, 1955, shall be abandoned on said
date, except the following which shall remain in full force and effect
and shall be held available during the year 1955, unless hereafter
specifically abandoned by ordinance:

Section 2. An emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton, and shall be
effective upon passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 29th day of December, 1954.
