AN 0RDINA~.iCE vacating a certain alley located in the City of
Bremer ton.
THE CITY OF BREMEIiTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has ~en previously filed with the
City Council a petition requesting that a certain alley in the
City of Bremerton, County of ~itsap, State of Washington, be va-
cated and that a resolution favorin~ the vacation was adopted by
the City Council on the 20th day of October, 1954, and setting
the 10th day of November, 195~, as the date upon which said peti-
tion would be heard, and that notice of said hearing has been
posted and given in the manner provided by law.
Section ~. ~hat the said alley is more particularly de-
scribed as follows, to-wit:
That certain East and West alley North of Lots
l0 to l~ inclusive and South of Lot ~ in Block
~ of Charleston Navy View Addition;
be and the same hereby is declared vacated, but the City of Brem-
erton does hereby reserve and retain an easement for any public
utilities including sewer and water lines, telephone and power
cables which may now be under ~he surface of any of the areas
vacated, and the City of Bremerton also retains the right to ex-
ercise and grant easements in respect to the areas hereby vacated
for the construction, repair an~ maintenance of pu01ic utilities
and services.
The City Clerk is authorized to certify a copy of this ordi-
nance to ~ a true and correct copy thereof and to file the same
for recording by the Auditor of K1tsap County, Washington.
APPROVED on first reading this 10th day of November, 19~.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage t~is 17th day of November, l~.
