AN ORDINANCE providing for the appropriation of funds for
which an insufficient appropriation was made in the 1954 budget,
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON WES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the sum of $600.00 was appropriated by the
1984 budget for office expense for the municipal court and that
due to incressed business of the court said appropriation is in-
sufficient and bnat it will ~ necessary to appropriate the sum
of $150. to continue the operation of the municipal court for the
balance of the year 1904.
Section 2. ~£hat there is hereby appropriated from funds not
otherwise appropriated the sum of *150 to the office expense fund
of the municipal court. ~hat by reason of the insufficient appro-
priation heretofore made, and the emergency requiring the expendi-
ture of such funds, an emergency exists and is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance is necessary for the present preservation
of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of
Bremerton and required for the carrying out of the work of the
municipal court, and this ordinance shall be in effect immediately
following passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremer-
ton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 6th day of October, 1954.
