AN ORDINANCE relating to the 1954 Budget, amending Ordinance No.
2047, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
WHEREAS, at the time of adopting the annual budget for the year
1954 by Ordinance No. 2047, by inadvertence, mistake and oversight,
certain classifications relative to employment were omitted, and it
is necessary that said ordinance be amended by adding certain class-
ifications thereto as follows:
Section 1. 13 Equipment Operators, Maximum 1.81 hr.
and 20~ hr. differential on heavy equipment.
Extra Labor, Maximum 1.Sl hr or Union scale
for skilled labor.
Water Supply: Extra Labor, Maximum 1.Sl hr.
or Union scale for skilled labor.
Water Distribution: Extra Labor, Maximum
1.~l hr. or Union Scale for skilled labor.
3 Equipment Operators, Maximum 1.91 hr. and
20~ hr. differential for heavy equipment.
Section 2. That by reason of the failure to include provision
for such employment there exists, and is hereby declared to exist an
emergency and that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City
of Bremerton and this ordinance shall take effect immediately follow-
ing passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 2Vth day of January, 1954.
