AN ORDINANCE relating to the municipal water supply and the sewage
disposal system of the City of Bremerton, and amending Section 58 of
Ordinance No. 1871.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 58 of Ordinance No. 1871 be, and the same
hereby is amended to read as follows:
Section 58. Statements for charges shall be sent monthly or
bi-monthly, as may be determined by the City Council and shall 0ecome
delinquent if not paid by the consumer within fifteen (15) days after
date thereof.
Section ~. By reason of the determination of the City Council to
send statements on a bi-monthly b~sis and nhe necessity of changing tile
accounting system of the Water Department, there exists and is hereby
~sclared to exist an emergency, and this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton, and shall be effective immediately
upon passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this ~th day of January, 198~.
